The W Forum
SagePoint provides access to an annual event, sponsored by Advisor Group, exclusively for female advisors and their assistants called the W Forum. This meeting provides timely educational sessions, as well as networking opportunities and one-on-one discussions with peers. The firm has co-hosted this meeting since 2007, making it one of the longest running events to focus on women advisors in the industry.
Wealth Management Symposium
The Wealth Management Symposium provides advisors with an in-depth look at the best thinking in asset management, protection strategies, and group retirement practices. In addition to the educational sessions, advisors are encouraged to take advantage of the many opportunities to network with fellow advisors, home office staff and some of the best thinkers in our field. This exceptional event, held annually, is a focused, strategic meeting designed for advisors who are serious about furthering their practice.

Online Education is available through live interaction with facilitators and peers without travel time and expenses associated with traditional classroom learning. CFP Ethics is a series of quarterly online sessions that provide Certified Financial Planners the opportunity to fulfill the CFP Board’s two-hour Code of Ethics Continuing Education requirement.

These two-hour (Level 300) sessions feature an interactive format and qualify for CFP continuing education credits. The Qualified Plans Sales Institutes were created for advisors who are looking to hone, build, or grow their retirement plan practices. These full-day sales and practice management seminars are held in several locations around the country. The meeting agenda is custom-designed for our advisors to deliver actionable training and tools focused on best practices in practice management, sales, and marketing.
Financial Planning Fast Track
Financial Planning Fast Track is an on-site accelerated educational program, offered in conjunction with Metropolitan State College of Denver, which prepares you to take the examination for the Certified Financial Planner designation in just seven months. The curriculum addresses the six financial planning subject areas that satisfy the education component of the CFP process and thoroughly prepares you for the exam.
A three-day course of live classroom instruction that is designed for an administrative assistant, advisor or FLS/ME affiliated with the Advisor Group broker-dealers whose business is brokerage, non-brokerage or fee-based. The class provides the practical, hands-on training needed to help streamline and simplify daily tasks. Attendees will receive instruction on how to navigate through the integrated online platforms that we offer.
Financial Services Assistant Training
Designed to meet the needs of licensed and unlicensed financial services assistants through live, hands-on classroom instruction and supplemental pre- and post-online self-study, this workshop explores the systems, concepts and tasks used to successfully process business activities. After the first two days of live sessions, attendees can participate in supplemental classroom sessions also geared toward assistants that cover the Wealth Management platform and our Document Management System.
