The Insurance Services department functions as the insurance product marketing support department for SagePoint Financial. Our job is to work with the advisor and help them make smart decisions regarding the use of insurance products and insurance based solutions. Our responsibility is to find out what role insurance plays in your practice, what type of service and support you need to grow that segment of your practice and then to bring that support to bear from any one or more of the Insurance Services Resources outlined below.
SagePoint has selling agreements with dozens of fine insurance carriers. However, only a few make the cut as Focus Life Carriers. While it is your choice on which carrier to use, we urge you to consider the merits of the Focus Life Carriers as the "best of the best". The Focus Life Carriers are specially selected insurance carriers who share our vision of maintaining a pro-active, aggressive internal insurance department and have demonstrated their willingness and ability to not only assist your Insurance Services department in delivering value to you, the Advisor, but to also facilitate the access and distribution of competitive, quality products and services. Each Focus Life Carrier has agreed to provide underwriting support, advanced planning support, operations support and other support as needed by our network of independent financial professionals. Many will also provide you with in the field, point-of-sale support on the more difficult cases you encounter.
