As SVP of Recruiting for SagePoint Financial, Genevieve is responsible for direct recruiting to the Firm, consulting with existing OSJs on strategies to recruit into their branches and managing the SagePoint Recruiting department. Genevieve brings a wealth of experience to her role. Prior to assuming her current position, Genevieve was Vice President of Recruiting at SagePoint. Prior to joining our Firm, she worked at ING Advisors Network, Berthel Fisher & Company Financial Services and Cambridge Investment Research in various recruiting and relationship management positions. Genevieve has a B.A. from Humboldt State University.
Nathan has 11 years of financial services industry experience, specializing in cultivating profitable relationships. He joined SagePoint from Cetera Advisors, where he served as Senior Recruiter, responsible for all recruitment activities in his assigned territory. He previously served as Vice President of Recruiting at Questar Capital, where he was responsible for business development, recruitment, and relationship management in the Midwest. Nathan has also held positions at Allianz, Edward Jones, and Wells Fargo. He received a M.B.A. from Capella University, a B.A. in Business/Economics from Wheaton College and holds Series 7 & 63 registrations.
With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, from distribution to recruiting, Sam has proven highly successful in creating lasting and profitable relationships with financial advisors. Prior to joining SagePoint Financial, he was a Director of Recruiting in South Texas for over seven years, guiding advisors into independence, and assisting branch offices grow their presence in the territory. Being an advocate for independent advisors has helped Sam in his previous roles as a wholesaler with such firms as Van Kampen Funds, and SunLife Financial. He holds a B.A. from Texas A&M University.
Julie “Julie “Jake” Clark is Vice President of Recruiting with SagePoint Financial. In this role, Jake is responsible for recruiting experienced financial advisors and OSJ groups, along with augmenting the recruiting efforts of existing offices, for the AIGFN portion of our business.
Previously, Jake has over 20 years in the financial services industry. She started as a producer and worked in Sales Management before taking a corporate recruiting role. She has worked for Marsh & McLennan as a Senior Consultant on the Talent Acquisition Team and was responsible for full-cycle recruiting of sales professionals. Before that, she held the National Recruiting Officer position for John Hancock Financial Network for 10 years, where she designed and developed strategic recruiting programs. Her methods proved to attract and transition high-quality candidates.
She coached, trained and mentored the management teams on these strategies.
Jake received a BA in Corporate Finance from the University of Toledo, where she played fast pitch softball.
Iyana Harris has a comprehensive understanding of Advisor Support and Operations procedures. She has worked closely with several recently recruited advisors in transitioning to the firm. She is well versed in our technology platforms and she works closely with our internal departments to ensure the firm’s requirements are met and transition is completed seamlessly. Iyana currently holds a Series 6 registration, and has several years of financial industry and customer service experience.
Nancy assists and supports the Senior VP of Recruiting with bringing new advisors on board to SagePoint. She hosts new potential advisor recruits at the home office during their visits, introduces new potential recruits to SagePoint’s offerings by showing them how to navigate our website, and handles phone inquiries. She also assists advisors with the registration, affiliation and onboarding processes. Prior to assuming her current role, Nancy worked as a trade specialist at Advisor Group. She also worked as a Sales Desk Manager for ING Funds and as a Branch Manager and Financial Specialist for U.S. Bank.
As the Director of Transition for SagePoint, Stephanie will work closely with you and the Recruiting department to make sure your transition runs smoothly. She manages the staff that processes all paperwork for advisors in transition and works with our internal departments to make sure all of your questions receive prompt and accurate answers. Stephanie is a Certified Financial Planner™ and currently holds a Series 7, 66, 24, 4, 53 and insurance licenses.
