National Education Conference

This annual event enables you to fulfill your continuing education requirements for the year, while keeping pace with industry trends, policy changes and new products. The broad curriculum is defined with input from our advisors, and enables you to hone your insights in areas such as sales and marketing, technology, operations, financial planning, business management and development, investment products and compliance.

Financial Planning Fast Track

This accelerated program prepares you to take the exam for Certified Financial Planner™ designation in just seven months. Completing FPFT alone doesn’t grant you the CFP designation; it addresses the six financial planning subject areas that satisfy the education component of the CFP process. FPFT is offered in partnership with the Metropolitan State College of Denver.

Business Development Academies

This comprehensive classroom series helps you stay current with industry issues and trends that affect your bottom line. Led by financial services industry leaders, these academies teach you to think proactively and creatively while devising a specific plan to capture market share and grow your business. Some academies provide continuing education credit.

Financial Services Assistant Training

These classroom workshops are geared toward the needs of your licensed and unlicensed financial service assistants, enabling them to explore the systems, concepts and tasks used to successfully process business activities. The workshop consists of two and a half days of hands-on, interactive sessions.

Technology Training

This two and a half day course is for financial services assistants, advisors or OSJs whose businesses are brokerage, non-brokerage or fee-based. It provides practical, hands-on training on how to streamline and simplify daily tasks. Attendees receive instruction on the integrated online platforms of NetX360, VISION2020, VISION2020 Advisor, and OneView.

First Line Supervisor Training

This one and a half day course provides new and experienced first line supervisors with training on account and transaction supervision, sales practice and general oversight responsibilities.

eLearning Opportunities

Host Jeff Rattiner, CPA, CFP leads six 2-hour (Level 300) online classes each year, exploring a broad array of complex financial planning challenges you may encounter when working with clients. Topics include retirement, employee benefits, estate, investments, income tax, insurance, small business ownership, highly compensated executives, divorce planning and more. Classes often qualify for CFP continuing education credits.

Home Office Connection eFORUMs

These live, web-based presentations are conducted quarterly by our home office staff.
